PORTFOLIO COMPANIES
The Fund is proud to support our investments in the following companies:
CARBON CROP
CarbonCrop are on a mission to make carbon credits accessible to landholders across Aotearoa and globally, delivering free eligibility assessments underpinned by AI-enabled technology. Their technology makes mapping forestry and submitting it for carbon credits significantly easier. Through this activity they are aiming to increase native forestry and increasing the carbon sequestered from our atmosphere in the process.
CROPSY
Cropsy are an AgriTech business developing an AI-powered, hardware-enabled software platform to provide crop growers with automated inspection and analysis of their crops. Their technology for vineyards has been validated and they have built significant IP, with patents pending on their hardware and significant data and know-how on their software. Trial partners to date have included large multinational growers, with feedback being highly complementary. The team have won 3 awards, were one of four companies to present at AgTech day in the vineyards, and have completed both Sprout and Startmate accelerator programs. Cropsy’s mission is to maximise efficiencies on farm in a scalable way in order to reduce the harmful use of pesticides and insecticides, increase land use efficiency and lower overall environmental harm. The first sector they are doing this in is viticulture.
CertusBio
CertusBio is a technology company that helps their customers optimise their production potential while safeguarding their impact on the environment. An average dairy food processing plant will lose up to 5% of their products during processing; that’s literally millions of dollars per year down the drain.
